Flinders Deagon  J. Lloyd reported at scale that over the concluding stages of the race his mount put in a number of awkward strides. Trainer P. Duff advised that he will have veterinary tests carried out in coming days and undertook to report to stewards any findings which may have had an effect on the horse's performance.
