Shudaputaringonit  Rider dislodged behind barriers. After travelling a short distance, the horse was recaptured, examined by the veterinary surgeon and cleared to start. Trainer was advised that a warning would be placed on the horse's manners. Hung out under pressure over concluding stages and shifted wider.  Ipswich  26/06/2015

Dagga Boy  Began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped ALLON ZEE. A short distance later was bumped by REAL NAUGHTY and lost ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have over-reached resulting in it casting the off fore plate causing a laceration to its near fore heel. Trainer advised the horse would now be sent for a spell.

Rose of Traveston  When asked to explain the horse's performance, rider T. Bell stated that it was his intention to ride the filly in a more forward position, however after beginning only fairly, the horse settled back further than he anticipated and never travelled comfortably throughout the race and in his opinion was disappointing.  Ipswich  1/07/2015

Max It Out  When questioned regarding her mount shifting away from the rail from the 500m, Ms T. Harrison explained that in today's track conditions she was of the opinion that in the straight the going was superior away from the rail. She said with this in mind she discussed this with trainer T. Gollan who instructed her to endeavour to shift out from the 500m to allow the filly to race on what he considered to be the better section of the track.  Ipswich  1/07/2015

Innocent  Leaving 800m steadied when tightened for room. Rider questioned re why she lost ground in early stages, resulting in her racing at rear of the field. Explained that after beginning well she was forced to steady the mare when tightened for room leaving the 800m, at which point her mount dropped the bit losing more ground than expected. Rider added she then had to ride the mare along just to hold its position at the tail of the field however, finished the race off well. Rider conceded in hindsight should have been more vigorous in the early stages in an effort to hold a midfield position.   Gold Coast  4/07/2015

Rustic Play  When questioned regarding her tactics, apprentice A. Fancourt stated that she attempted to ride forward and cross LIBERATION in the early stages, however once she was unable to cross that runner, she steadied the gelding. Ms Fancourt added that she had been instructed to not overly restrain the gelding as it was one-paced and for that reason she was content to race forward of LIBERATION during the middle stages. Stewards advised apprentice Fancourt that she would have been better suited making greater effort to restrain the gelding in the early stages so as to sit off LIBERATION.  Beaudesert  5/07/2015

Kid Tycoon  When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of the gelding trainer Ms D. Murphy stated that the gelding was fourth up today from a spell and racing over a suitable distance. Ms Murphy added that at its previous start the gelding was obliged to improve up the rail inside runners down the straight and it does not appreciate racing in this manner. Ms Murphy stated that today the gelding appreciated being eased to the outside of the field down the straight and having clear galloping room.  Murwillumbah  21/06/2015
