Egyptian Melody  Shifted in after travelling a short distance and bumped another runner. Shifted in at the 900m and tightened another runner when racing greenly. Rider D. Browne stated that the filly was disappointing, and initially was reluctant to race inside other runners, however did not finish the race off as he had expected. Stitchen Time  Began awkwardly. Tightened for room shortly after the start when racing in restricted room and had to be checked. Stewards afforded apprentice B. Grylls the opportunity to comment on the horse's performance. She stated that after being tightened for room shortly after the start the filly settled further back than she anticipated. She added that the usual racing pattern of the filly is to lead and the horse races best when able to dictate out in front, however she was nonetheless disappointed with the filly's finishing effort.
