Cantbuybetter  Jockey M. Zahra reported the gelding failed to respond to his riding as expected placing it under pressure rounding the home turn and proved disappointing. Signpost  Approaching the 900m commenced to overrace and improved inside runners and raced in restricted room for a short distance before shifting out and as a result raced wide from that point onwards.

Elizondo  Jockey V. Venkaya, rider of the gelding, pleaded guilty to a charge of reckless riding, in that near the 100m whilst placing the gelding under heavy whip riding he allowed the horse to shift in, resulting in a tightening to runners to his inside, being PLATINUM PRINCE, and ROSE OF WOORIM, causing the riders of both horses to significantly check their mounts and lose significant ground. Jockey Venkaya was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence at midnight, 4 October and to expire at midnight, 2 November.

Rob's Ransom  Bumped at the start. Jockey T. Bell reported to stewards that his saddle shifted during the event, placing him at some disadvantage.  Beaudesert  30/09/2015 
Star of Aquarius  After initially laying in and away from another runner near the 1100m, was then forced to steady the avoid the heels of that runner after being crossed. Improved on to the heels of another runner near the 900m and was steadied. Rider questioned regarding horse's performance. Refer Stewards Report. Bold Attraction  App S. Eilbeck reported that the horse raced greenly in the early and middle stages and as a consequence lost ground on the leaders leaving the 600m, despite her efforts. App Eilbeck noted that the horse was having its first start back from a spell and in her opinion had resented racing inside of other runners today. App Eilbeck indicated that connections would consider adding blinkers and stepping it up in distance at its next start.  Gold Coast  3/10/2015

King of the Flame  Hung out from the 800m until straightening. When questioned in re the improved performance, trainer P. Webster noted that it was the horse's first start for his stable and was racing in blinkers for the first time. He added that the gelding had been working well in the lead up to the event and he was confident in a competitive showing however was surprised the horse won by such a margin in today's event.  Dalby  24/09/2015 
London Lady  When questioned, J. Lloyd stated that the horse travelled well until the 700m when he became concerned with the horse's action and indicated that as a result of this he did not overly pressure the horse in the home straight and it weakened over the concluding stages.
