After beginning awkwardly had to ride gelding along in effort to obtain forward position which he was able to do passing the winning post on the first occasion in settling outside the leader. However when attempting to sit of the leader his mount commenced to over race and refused to settle despite his efforts.

When questioned regarding the horse’s disappointing performance, S. Bogenhuber advised that she was instructed to obtain a forward position as per the horse’s customary racing pattern. She added that as a result of these instructions and the wide barrier, she was forced to pressure the horse more than she had hoped. She further added that in her opinion this was the major contributing factor to the horse failing to run on when placed under pressure over the concluding stages. Trainer M.
