Jockey J. Taylor reported at scale that his mount commenced to weaken from the 500m and also made an abnormal respiratory noise. A post-race veterinary examination confirmed the horse was making an abnormal respiratory noise. Trainer C. Halliday will be advised that prior to racing again the horse will require a veterinary clearance, including the results of an endoscopic examination.
