Exotic Sequel As the gelding had not raced for 4 years, it underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start. Began awkwardly. Ipswich 05/05/2018
Prince Manitou Raced greenly throughout the event. Jockey Spinks reported that the horse was very field shy from the 700m and laid in badly from that point, placing him at a disadvantage for the remainder of the event. Jockey Spinks recommended to connections that blinkers be added to the horse’s gear. Sunshine Coast 06/05/2018

Monster of Energy Overraced in the early stages and raced in restricted room approaching the 900m when tightened for room. Had a tendency to lay in rounding the home turn and in the home straight. Sunshine Coast 27/04/2018
Pretext's Dream Hung out during the early stages despite the efforts of it rider and raced 3 wide until a point passing the 600m where it obtained a position outside the lead. Had a tendency to lay out under pressure in the home straight. Connections were advised that a warning would be placed against the gelding regarding its racing manners. Gold Coast 12/05/2018
Rising Stock Held up approaching and rounding the home turn. Beaudesert 25/04/2018
Pressway When questioned regarding the tactics adopted as the horse settled back in the field, apprentice J. Murphy indicated that from the wide barrier draw he had been instructed to try to obtain cover and it had not been his intention to settle as far back as he did, however was obliged to do so in order to obtain a position closer to the fence. He added his mount would have settled closer to the lead with a more favourable barrier, and would benefit from a step up in distance next start. Sunshine Coast 16/05/2018

Red Phantom After passing the 1300m when the pace was only steady was shifted wider on the track and permitted to stride forward 3 wide and assumed a position outside the lead. Sunshine Coast 16/05/2018
Sawtell Began awkwardly, lost ground and then shortly afterwards was crowded for room. Warwick Farm 16/05/2018
Surprise Bullet During the early stages when attempting to be steadied to secure cover, overraced badly before being permitted to stride forward to the lead passing the 1500m. Sunshine Coast 16/05/2018
The Pinkerton Near the 1800m commenced to over-race and had to be restrained from heels. Raced wide after passing the 600m. Gold Coast 19/05/2018
Few Too Many Passing the 1300mn was forced into a 3 wide position when THE ZOFF shifted out. Passing the 1000m was able to obtain cover in a 1 wide position. Passing the 300m had to be steadied when disappointed for a run between runners. For a short period thereafter became awkwardly placed at the heels of KIRINS LAD and was unable to improve. She Salutes When being restrained in the early stages raced ungenerously. After passing the 1200m when the pace was only steady was shifted wider on the track and permitted to stride forward 3 wide and secured a position trailing the leaders at a point passing the 900m. Sunshine Coast 16/05/2018

Baroque Girl Approaching the 500m taken wider on the track by DESMONS PRIDE which shifted out to improve. Gold Coast 10/02/2018

She's Fast Improved on to heels over the final 100m and was obliged to alter course. Apprentice S. Lacy reported that her mount was unable to muster early speed and will benefit from a step up in distance. Sunshine Coast 13/05/2018

Star of Night When quest re perf. app stated mount was resuming today after 2 pleasing trials. Rdr stated mount settled forward & travelled well in early stages. Rdr added he was required to encourage his mount along from 600m which is consistent with previous runs. Rdr stated mount peaked on run at 200m & weakened to line. Tnr advised mare was 1st up on rain affected going & it told over latter stages of event. Tnr added mare appreciated cover and he would ride in that manner next start. P/R vet exam no ab's.
