Placed under pressure by its rider leaving the 700m, however failed to respond at that point, before running on fairly over the final 200m. When asked to comment regarding the gelding’s performance, apprentice B. Nothdurft felt that in his opinion the horse was very one-paced , however found the line reasonably over the final 100m. He added that the horse may benefit from the addition of blinkers. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings and the gelding was sent to be swabbed.
