Threw its head in the air on jumping and lost ground. When questioned by Stewards in relation to the seemingly disappointing performance, jockey S. Bogenhuber advised that the horse was hard ridden from the 600m and failed to respond to her riding and proved disappointing. Stewards will contact trainer M. Nolan in the coming days regarding the horse’s post-race recovery.

Rdr stated that with the fast early tempo, he was allowed to slot into a one off worse than midfield position were he travelled comfortably until approaching the 700m where the pace slackened and he had to ease away from heels and race in a three-wide line from that point. Rdr said that his mount ran to the line in a one-paced manner and expressed disappointment with its performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery with minor respiratory noises.
