H Richardson, rider of A GOOD CHANCE, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under AR131(a) in that she permitted her mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of RAMTASTIC which was taken resulting in DREAM WEAVING being checked. The licence of H Richardson to ride in races was suspended for a period of 7 days to commence midnight 13th August up to and including midnight 20th August 2022.

Jockey J Orman when asked to comment stated that after travelling well the gelding failed to respond to his riding in the straight and proved disappointing. Jockey also added that today’s track conditions may have effected its performance. Trainers representative M Sharpe advised that the gelding would undergo further veterinary examinations which would include an endoscopic examination and report the findings back to stewards.
