When questioned regarding the horse's disappointing performance, rider advised that the gelding travelled well throughout the event, however when placed under pressure over the concluding stages failed to respond to his riding and ran on only fairly. Ima Gonski  Rider J.Hoopert reported that the gelding raced wide, and fierce and was disappointed with how the horse finished off the race. Post race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.

It's a Stick Up  Jumped awkwardly and shifted out. Near the 100m shifted out abruptly whilst weakening and became unbalanced.  Sunshine Coast  19/07/2015 
Red Selenium  Rider D. Griffin reported that the horse tired over the concluding stages, which may have been as a result of it getting its tongue over the bit. Stewards ordered that a veterinary examination be conducted on the colt, however this was unable to be carried out as the horse had left the course. Trainer J. McLachlan was reminded of his obligations to ensure that his runners remain on course for the prescribed period following an event. Mr McLachlan indicated that he may experiment with the addition of a tongue tie to the horse's gear at its next start.  Sunshine Coast  22/11/2015

Bullitt County  Began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped another runner. overraced in early stages and shifted wider on track leaving 800m.  Gold Coast  10/10/2015 
Cambo's Mate  When questioned regarding the performance of the horse, rider C. Small stated that the gelding overraced in the early and middle stages of the race and, in his opinion, may not have appreciated racing on today's firm surface. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.   Gatton  17/04/2015 
Jolly Boy  Rider questioned re performance - stated gelding quickened when asked to respond upon straightening however, was disappointed in gelding's finishing effort after it weakened noticeably over final 200m. Rider of view that gelding was stepping up in class today and as a result failed to carry the 59 kilo impost. Vetted - no abnormalities.  Gold Coast  7/11/2015
