When questioned in relation to the seemingly improved performance Stable Representative advised that the gelding which was having its 3rd start in the region had taken a little time to adjust to racing on the non-grass surfaces, but had been pleasing the stable in the lead-up to today’s event and was also of the opinion that although up in class the gelding had benefitted from the significant drop in weight in comparison to that carried at its previous 2 starts.
