Dr Barnard  When questioned regarding her riding of the gelding Apprentice explained that she had been instructed to ride the gelding back in the field. She said that the gelding travelled comfortably throughout and shortly after straightening for home she attempted to improve into a run between runners, however when runner shifted out, she was disappointed for that run and then had to be shifted to that runner's outside, where the gelding ran home only fairly.  Mackay  19/04/2015

Min Min Man  When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding rider explained that her mount travelled comfortably throughout, however when another runner improved to her outside near the 600 metres the gelding was reluctant to race genuinely inside runners and was disappointing.
