River Boy Shifted out under pressure approaching the winning post, forcing another runner wider, which inconvenienced another runner. Rider of the gelding was advised to show greater care in similar circumstances. Townsville 21/04/2017

Aurochs After being slow to begin, failed to muster any speed and as a consequence did not take any competitive part in the event. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be agitated but with no other clinical abnormalities. Jockey R Plumb stated that the filly failed to travel comfortably at any stage of the event and in his opinion may have tied up. Traiber advised horse would be sent for spell Gold Coast 26/11/2016

Irish Eyes The start was delayed when IRISH EYES proved difficult to load. A further delay was caused when the horse reared in the barriers. A subsequent veterinary examination cleared the horse to start. Rockhampton 01/04/2017

Military Lady Rider reported the mare knuckled badly on jumping and had failed to stretch out for the remainder of the race. As a result, he did not place the horse under pressure throughout. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Emerald 29/04/2017

Flying Sand Stewards questioned rider re his riding in the home straight. Of concern to stewards was that near the 250m he shifted out when there appeared to be a run between PEARLY AVENUE and YOU CAN’T FIND ME and then continued to shift wider on the track for the remainder of the event.Rider stated his mount was under pressure rounding home turn and was unable to improve into runs when they presented. Stylish Luck Commenced to over race near the 1200m and shifted out, taking BARCELONA BOUND wider. Continued to over race in the early and middle stages and from the 800m, bumped another runner on a number of occasions. PULSAR, which was following, had to be eased from STYLISH LUCK. Eljay Atom Jockey S Sheargold was fined $200 for returning to the scales in excess of a half kilogram overweight. Rockhampton 06/05/2017
Six Beat Raced wide during the early stages. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding which commenced to weaken passing the 600m revealed mild heat stress. Gold Coast 31/12/2016

You Can't Find Me When questioned regarding the tactics adopted. App. Krogh stated that from the wide barrier he was caught wide and unable to obtain cover he therefore elected to improve forward and obtain a position outside the leader near the 800m. When questioned, trainer Mr W Melvin advised stewards that in light of today’s performance the gelding would be going for a spell.
