Tired noticeably over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be suffering from a respiratory condition. Connections were advised it would be required to undergo an endoscopic examination, with the results forwarded to stewards, as well as the provision of a veterinary certificate prior to its next race start. Stewards questioned jockey W. D’Avila regarding the tactics adopted in the early stages of the event. Recent form would indicate that it had been racing with cover.
