Cyclone Topgirl Overraced in the early and middle stages. Rockhampton 08/02/2018
Legal Ties Awkwardly away after being fractious in the barriers. Raced wide early without cover. Rider advised Stewards following the race the filly had a tendency to hang in from leaving the 600m until entering the home straight and was not entirely comfortable on today’s track surface. Tambo's Vixen At approximately the 900m shifted in and away from RUBY GEORGIE and WICKED GRIMSHAW had to be steadied and lost ground. Shifted out near the 500m when racing greenly, resulting in WICKED GRIMSHAW shifting out and away. N. Day lost his whip inside the final 100 metres. Rockhampton 25/01/2018
 
Race 2
Starena Tired noticeably over the concluding stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be suffering from a respiratory condition. Connections were advised it would be required to undergo an endoscopic examination, with the results forwarded to stewards, as well as the provision of a veterinary certificate prior to its next race start. Stewards questioned jockey W. D’Avila regarding the tactics adopted in the early stages of the event. Recent form would indicate that it had been racing with cover. Race 3
Coventry Slow to begin. Overraced in the early stages and was restrained from heels near the 900m. Townsville 13/02/2018
Mishnah Hung in near the 300m, making contact with another runner. Rockhampton 01/02/2018
Fabulous Child Improved on to heels near the 800m and had to be steadied. Laid in when placed under pressure in the home straight, proving difficult to ride and having to be straightened on a number of occasions. Townsville 02/02/2018
 
Race 4
Grand Emperor Slow into stride. Over- raced in the early and middle stages and near the 900 metrs had to be restrained from heels and lost ground. Jockey C. Whiteley reported his mount may have come to the end of its preparation.. Trainer T. Bannon confirmed the gelding would now be spelled. Rockhampton 21/10/2017
Charcoal Melody Fractious in the barriers prior to the start. Blundered on jumping away. Mackay 09/01/2018

Royal Physician Fractious in the barriers. Raced wide for the majority of the race and had a tendency to lay in soon after straightening. Cairns 23/01/2018

Marquant Making the home turn was brushed & taken wider. A post race vet exam did not rev any abs. Co-tnr advised warning would be recorded against the geld, which was beaten 23L. Kembla Grange 17/09/2017
To the Letter Began awkwardly. Rider reported following the event, in his opinion would be better suited over a longer distance and would also benefit from the addition of winkers or blinkers, which he advised connections. Townsville 27/01/2018

We Found It Raced 3 wide without cover in the early and middle stages. Home Hill 02/12/2017

He's All Heart Slightly inconvenienced when tightened for room over the concluding stages. Rockhampton 08/02/2018

Ragnar Lodbrok Commenced to overrace near the 900m and had to be steadied off heels shifting out forcing another runner wider. Mackay 09/01/2018
Hi Sugar Prior to leaving enclosure, it was observed that the horse had blood its in mouth from a dislodged tooth. The mare was cleared to take its place in the field. Slow to begin. Thangool 27/01/2018
Amber's Girl The mare turned its head into the adjacent barrier after the start was effected and, as a result, lost considerable ground. Stewards questioned Apprentice D. Graham in relation to the tactics adopted on the mare from the 1000m. Refer full report. Dalby 05/02/2018
