Drumeous Began awkwardly and threw its head in the air for a short distance after the start. Springsure 15/09/2018
Goliath After passing the 900m when attempting to be restrained, got its head up and overraced and became awkwardly placed at the heels of AMRON and a short time later was shifted out to a four wide position. Mackay 11/09/2018

Plain 'n' Simple Overraced in the early stages. Rider N. Thomas was reprimanded for his use of the whip prior to the 100m Rockhampton 13/09/2018
Hierarchal Failed to muster speed in the early stages. Springsure 15/09/2018
Portsea Jockey A. Fancourt pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding in that near the 500m she did ride in a careless manner by forcing a run between the leader CASINO GARDENS and GENERAL ASSAULT, causing PORTSEA and GENERAL ASSAULT to be buffeted and become unbalanced. Further that jockey Fancourt continued to press for that run and leaving the 400m shifted out under pressure, causing GENERAL ASSAULT to be tightened on to the hind quarters of DOWNLOADING, causing GENERAL ASSAULT to be checked at that point. Hyper Drive - Apprentice N. Fazackerley reported that when placed under pressure the horse failed to respond to his riding and proved disappointing. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities Mackay 11/09/2018
Lollipop Rocket When attempting to obtain cover approaching the 1200m the filly commenced to overrace and had to be restrained from heels on a couple of occasions. Mackay 11/09/2018

Marseille Roulette Began very awkwardly, throwing its head in the air and shifted in soon after the start, bumping another runner Cairns 08/09/2018
Lamerican Raced ungenerously over the concluding stages. Jockey was of the opinion that the mare would be better suited over distances shorter than that of today’s event. Mackay 31/08/2018

You Know the One Approaching the 600m had to be steadied away from heels. Mackay 11/09/2018
Ruby Georgie Jockey A. Butler could offer no explanation for the seemingly disappointing performance of the gelding, which, in his opinion, raced somewhat flat today. Trainer T. Button could also offer no explanation for the performance however added the gelding may have come to the end of its preparation. A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be making a respiratory noise consistent with the onset of a virus. Rockhampton 05/05/2018
