Cleansing Ale  Was restrained from the heels of CASINO BENJO near the 1200 metres then commenced to over-race for a short distance. Made contact with another runner near the 200m. Baron Rees  Slipped behind on jumping and lost ground. Ms Applewaite reported BARON REES had pulled up well from its engagement and eaten up overnight. After light exercise, no abnormalities were detected.

Tribal Art  Jumped away awkwardly. Laid out rounding the home turn. Inquiry re performance and tactics adopted on the horse. Rider J. Lloyd indicated that his intentions had been to be in a forward position however when the horse began awkwardly he was obliged to take up a trailing position behind BUKEKAYO. He indicated that he was forced to steady further when inconvenienced when racing to the inside of FORTINI and this caused him to lose further ground. He felt however that the horse improved well into the race rounding the home turn and was doing its best work over the concluding stages.   Sunshine Coast  29/05/2015

Isa Tala  Raced wide until near the 900 metres. Rider reported that the mare had to be restrained rather than race wide and got further back than had been intended. Near the 700 metres, raced keenly and had to be eased to avoid heels.

Straight Gold  Inquiry re performance. Rider L. Dittman stated that the gelding was under pressure prior to rounding the home turn and finished the race off only fairly. He added the horse felt like it had come to the end of its preparation.   Sunshine Coast  8/06/2015 
Winged Warrior  Held up for a short distance in the early part of the straight. Trainer R. Vale informed stewards that subsequent to the race the horse had undergone blood tests which indicated that it had an infection and was treated. He said that WINGED WARRIOR will be freshened up and it was anticipated to have its next race start on 18th June 2015.  Mackay  14/05/2015

Motorised  Jockey reported that whilst his mount had travelled well, when placed under pressure at the 300m it was inclined to lay out. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding had sustained a stone bruise to the off fore hoof. Trainer F.
