Rose of Traveston  When asked to explain the horse's performance, rider T. Bell stated that it was his intention to ride the filly in a more forward position, however after beginning only fairly, the horse settled back further than he anticipated and never travelled comfortably throughout the race and in his opinion was disappointing.  Ipswich  1/07/2015

Born to Survive  Near the 900 metres shifted in and tightened the running of BROWN DOUBT and placed THANKGODFORFRANC in restricted room before shifting out. Supposing (NZ)  Hung out from the 600 metres and placed its rider at a distinct disadvantage. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the gelding had soreness in the near fore shoulder. Trainer was told that a warning will be placed on the gelding's racing manners.
