Mishani Istana  When questioned regarding his riding, Jockey stated that instructions were to ride the filly in a forward position, however after beginning only fairly, and when runners to his inside showed superior speed, he elected to take up a rearward position closer to the running rail. Jockey said that his mount travelled comfortably throughout, however shortly after straightening for home was disappointed for a run, then shifted back to the inside and soon afterwards was able to obtain clear running, where the filly ran to the finish strongly.

Shoo Fly Shoo  Shifted out on jumping and bumped BROQUALO. Jockey J. P. Stanley reported that his mount raced very greenly throughout.

Not So Sober  Was fractious in the barriers prior to the start and on jumping became awkward in its stride. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding did not reveal any abnormalities.  Rockhampton  8/10/2015

From the Darkness  Was inclined to gallop awkwardly for a few strides near the 700 metres.

Imbosteria  When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, Jockey said that after travelling comfortably in the early and middle stages, when a runner to his inside shifted out he was obliged to race 3 deep, however was under pressure prior to straightening and was disappointing.

Photobomb  Shifted in slightly near the 700 metres. When questioned regarding the performance, Jockey Stewart said that he was not overly disappointed with the gelding's run and was of the opinion that it was a fair performance, given that the gelding raced best when able to obtain a forward position. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. The trainer reported that the gelding had an abscess in the near hind hoof and will now be spelled.
