Catch a Glimpse  When questioned regarding the performance of the mare, App. Vuille stated that she was instructed to take up a handy position where her mount was comfortable in the early stages, however the mare failed to travel in the early and middle stages and lost ground. She added that when placed under pressure in the home straight finished the race off fairly.

Ferrigno  Trainer applied to have gelding declared non-runner. Stewards established that immediately prior to start horse reared and got head and neck into adjacent stall, causing it to lose considerable ground.Stewards declared horse to be a runner, acting under A.R. 134A.
