Above Us  When questioned regarding the gelding leading, Jockey explained that he had been instructed to race in a midfield position, however after beginning fairly, and when runners to his inside did not show the expected speed, rather than be caught wide he elected to ride forward and assume the lead, where the gelding travelled comfortably throughout. Stable representative confirmed the instructions issued and added that the gelding has led in previous starts.  Mackay  12/11/2015

Photobomb  Began awkwardly. With regard to the performance of the horse, N. Summers stated today the gelding was taken on and was unable to lead and overraced as a result in the early and middle stages until it settled near the 700m. Trainer questioned re improved performance said that blinkers had been added to gear for most recent start, however horse was not overly disappointing on that occasion.
