Slow to begin, brushed another runner. Rider questioned regarding riding and performance, stated he was not overly disappointed with run. His intention was to go forward and lead but after slow to begin and being hampered near 900m was not comfortable racing back in field and had tendency to lay out from 300m. |

Was fractious in the barriers and when the start was effected Jockey lost the use of his nearside iron, which placed him at a significant disadvantage, then near the 300 metres he was able to get his other foot out of the iron, ultimately resulting in him having no use of his irons for the remainder of the race.
