Cool Days  Was slow to begin. Raced greenly at the 100m. The rider of Cool Days, Appr L. Tilley was questioned regarding the riding of the gelding over the concluding stages. King of the Flame  Hung out from the 800m until straightening. When questioned in re the improved performance, trainer P. Webster noted that it was the horse's first start for his stable and was racing in blinkers for the first time. Gambaccini  Jockey A. Butler stated that after being slow to begin, the gelding failed to travel well or stretch out throughout the event and proved disappointing. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal abnormalities. Trainer reported to stewards that GAMBACCINI had pulled up fine. He attributed the performance to the firm track conditions. Mr Smith added that a blood analysis had been done and he undertook to advise stewards of any abnormality.  Rockhampton  17/10/2015
