He added that there appeared to be no obvious issues with TARTAN WARRIOR other than in his opinion it raced like a tired horse and he had recommended to connections that the horse should be spelled. | Stradam | rider stated that she intended to race in a forward position, however her mount failed to muster sufficient early speed and settled at the rear. She stated that it failed to travel in the middle stages and, whilst it did have some excuses, it sprinted only fairly. Ms Jamieson stated that her mount raced like a horse not interested in racing. When questioned, trainer Mr H. Norman stated the mare had worked well and he was very disappointed with its performance. Mr Norman added that the stable would assess the immediate racing future of the 4 mare in the coming days. |
