Dream Speed  Rider reported his mount travelled in a rearward position as anticipated, and when the tempo quickened down the side he was caught a little flatfooted, and as he was concerned he would be carried wider by TRUSTEE, he elected near the 500m to shift back inside with the horse to save ground. He added that when placed under pressure in the straight, the filly finished the race off very nicely. Diablo Nero (NZ)  Slow to begin. Stewards raised concerns with apprentice M. Cox in that near the 900m and again near the 800m she attempted to improve into a position where there was doubtful room, resulting in her horse becoming unbalanced and also resulting in another runner being forced wider. Ms Cox indicated that she felt there was opportunity to improve her position on both occasions. After viewing the video footage, stewards advised Ms Cox that in similar circumstances she should show greater care.  Sunshine Coast  3/05/2015

Ledoyen  Inquiry re tactics adopted. Jockey T. Bell stated the colt had been slow to begin at its previous start, which resulted in him racing at the tail of the field. Was inclined to hang outwards for the majority of the event. Had to be eased on straightening to avoid the heels of Riboulding (J Fry) which shifted out when not clear. Spur Le Jouer  Raced 3 wide without cover throughout. Rider questioned re tactics - instructed to position colt midfield. After beginning fairly attempted to restrain colt in early stages to take up a trailing position behind JETASAN however, it commenced to race strongly. As a result she was unable to restrain the which resulted in her racing 3 wide without cover for the remainder. Notwithstanding the wide run she was disappointed in its performance and was of the opinion that it had not felt comfortable in today's track conditions.   Gold Coast  23/05/2015
