Stocky Lady (NZ)  Connections advised that it was their intention to have the filly ridden in a more forward position as it had been failing to finish its races off when being ridden back. Eastern Prince  Raced wide throughout. Rider could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance. A post race veterinary examination revealed mild lameness in the off foreleg. Trainer was advised that she must supply a veterinary certificate prior to the gelding racing again. Trainer undertook to have further veterinary tests carried out and will report the findings to stewards.

Clandise  Rider J. Lloyd reported that his mount overraced in the early stages and, in his opinion, this had a detrimental effect on the horse's performance. He added that with hindsight when positioned 3 wide near the 850m he would have been better served allowing the horse to stride forward to the lead.   Sunshine Coast  8/06/2015 
Moe's Tavern  A post race veterinary examination revealed a small amount of blood in its near-side nostril and the horse was stepping short in its near hind leg. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance must be provided prior to its next race start and the gelding must gallop over 1000m before being permitted to race again.

Reckless Abandon  Inquiry re performance and tactics adopted. Rider Allen indicated that in the early stages he was content to allow MADE TO ORDER to cross his mount as he felt he would get a nice trail behind the lead. He added during the middle stages he was of the view that the pace being set by the leader SAMBUCA SHOT was too fast and that the horse would weaken over the final 400m. He added that he was able to pressure his mount into the race after leaving the 600m as he would have liked, however the leader did not quicken as anticipated.
