She stated that whilst she rides the mare work & is mindful of its racing manners in that when trying to restrain the horse it has a tendency to throw its head in the air and overrace.She further added that approaching the 800m the mare improved onto the heels & instead of fighting against the mare she allowed the mare to improve to its outside which resulted in racing wide for the majority of the race. |
