Questioned re: performance, App Graham stated gelding failed to muster speed in early stages which resulted in it racing further back than anticipated. App. Graham noted that despite this the gelding failed to respond to her riding when placed under pressure rounding the home turn and in her opinion was disappointing. Planet America  Questioned as to tactics - rider stated instructed to sit off the speed with cover. For this reason he allowed runner outside of him to cross to the lead near 900m. Then travelled comfortably in middle stages but was dissapointed for a run between runners upon straightening and again dissapointed for a run over concluding stages. James is Blonde  Tightened for room at the start. Stewards afforded jockey G. Geran the opportunity to comment on the performance. He stated that after beginning awkwardly he settled further back than he had anticipated. He added that he was mindful of the gelding's racing pattern, which is to race up on the speed, and at a point near the 900m he elected to shift wider on the track and stride forward to take up a position outside the leader. Sine Timore  Connections advised that the horse, which led last start, would be ridden with cover just behind the lead if possible. Making the first turn, rider T. Harrison was unable to restrain the gelding and as a result shifted wider on the track, and as a result then raced 3 wide without cover. Liberation  Connections advised that the colt would be ridden well back in the field from the wide barrier. The horse was ridden accordingly. Pantalettes  Began awkwardly. When questioned rider stated that the mare never felt entirely comfortable today and despite racing wide early was under pressure upon straightening and proved disappointingTrainer T.
