Biantic  Trainer reported following race that the only explanation he was able to offer for the dissapointing performance was that the gelding may have resented racing in a tongue tie. Therefore, the tongue tie would be removed for the gelding's next race start.  Doomben  12/08/2015

Fell From Heaven  Questioned re tactics - rider instructed to take up forward position, as mare was up in distance, allowed leader to cross forward of him near the 900m. Over-raced in middle stages and was held up rounding home turn and early in straight. Dissappointed in finishing effort when failed to sprint after obtaining clear running near 250m. Conceded better suited allowing mare to stride early to maintain lead given steady tempo. Trainer confirmed instructions and given mare's racing manners felt it would be better suited when able to lead. Vet exam - no apparent abnormalities.  Gold Coast  8/08/2015
