Craiglea Detroit The start was delayed when the gelding dislodged Jockey during the parade to the barriers. Was examined by the Club's veterinary surgeon behind the barriers and cleared to take its place in the field. Slow into stride. Day of the Fox Commenced to overrace passing the 1100m and clipped the heels of GUINIGI PRINCE and blundered, almost dislodging its rider. Apprentice S. Amazon Ruler Upon arrival at the barriers underwent a veterinary examination at the request of its rider and was cleared to start. From inside the 100 metres, when pulling the whip through, App. Grylls lost the use of her nearside rein. Rockhampton 02/02/2017

Aussie Tycoon The start was delayed initially when the horse became fractious behind the barriers. Following a veterinary examination it was passed fit to start. A post race veterinary examination revealed contusions to the off foreleg and also to have a laceration to the near-side foreleg. Trainer M. Nolan will be advised that a veterinary certificate must be provided prior to its next race start. Dalby 04/02/2017
Sonador Angel Hung out from the 800m until straightening. Jockey B. Stewart explained that when crossed by ROCK GARDEN his horse overraced badly when inclined to hang out, and then from the 800m continued to shift out away from SNOW DRIFTER. Sheza Yankee Slow to begin. Rider questioned re performance - stated filly failed to travel comfortably throughout and was reluctant to stretch out and proved most disappointing. Vetted - no abnormalities. Gold Coast 11/02/2017
Top Peak Examined by the veterinary surgeon prior to the start after coming into contact with the outside fence and dislodging its rider behind the barriers. Apprentice T. Brooker reported it had not been her intention to lead, however the horse began well and she was unable to obtain cover. Sunshine Coast 12/02/2017
