Sacromonte Bumped on a number of occasions between the 950m and 850m. Unable to improve from the 400m to the entrance to the straight when inclined to lay out and was awkwardly placed on heels. Approaching the 200m was obliged to ease out around heels to continue to improve. Ballina 01/10/2017
Vintage Beauty When asked as to why she remained racing 3 wide without cover when there appeared opportunity to restrain and race behind COLLARS UP, apprentice S. Lacy stated that the horses usual racing pattern is to race in front or up on the speed, and the mare has shown in the past to have a reluctance to being restrained as well as an inclination to choke down. She added that in the heavy going she was not overly concerned to maintain the position she did, however in hindsight conceded it may have been more advantageous to endeavour to restrain to find cover. Splitlock Slow to begin and lost ground. Had difficulty securing clear running in the early stages of the home straight. Sunshine Coast 24/09/2017

Chamalu Vet exam prior to race and was cleared to start. Rosehill Gardens 10/09/2016
Downloading Raced with its head in the air when being restrained in the early stages. When asked to comment on the horse’s performance, J. Byrne indicated that at no stage did the horse travel comfortably, racing with its head in the air in the early stages and near the 850m, when following MOGUL, that horse shifted in and made contact with the running rail. He felt that this caused his mount to shy and lose ground and become very awkward in its action. He indicated that from that point onwards the horse did not respond to his riding and was very disappointing in the run to the line. Sunshine Coast 04/06/2017

Leroy Rocks Change of tactics. Connections advised the horse would be ridden just off the speed. The horse subsequently settled behind the leaders. Rounding the home turn shifted out to secure clear running and made contact with another runner. Sunshine Coast 14/06/2017
Morion When apprentice A. Sewell attempted to secure cover in the early stages the gelding overraced and he was unable to do so and therefore rode forward to position outside the lead whilst 3 wide without cover passing the 500m. Sunshine Coast 24/09/2017
