Hancock When asked to comment on the horse’s performance, J. Byrne indicated that when he attempted to restrain in the back straight on a number of occasions the horse became awkward in its action and laid out and appeared to resent being restrained. He said that the horse weakened in the home straight and was disappointing. He added that the horse also laid in under pressure in the home straight and he was obliged to stop riding and straighten on a number of occasions when tiring. Sunshine Coast 04/06/2017

Fatal Rendezvous Bumped with another runner on jumping. When questioned regarding the tactics adopted, jockey L. Tarrant stated that his intentions were to take up a forward position and lead if possible, however the filly was unable to show the necessary speed in the early stages and when an opportunity presented to shift in towards the fence, he took that opportunity rather than be caught wide. He added that the filly was not entirely comfortable in today’s prevailing track conditions, which he believed may have contributed to today’s disappointing performance. Ipswich 10/05/2017

Dansez Rider explained whilst filly travelled 3 wide without cover when asked for a effort in the straight did not respond and was of the opinion may have come to the end of its preparation and been affected by todays warm conditions. Vetted - no abnormalites. Ipswich 23/09/2017

Mishani Wrangler Passing the 1000m was forced in and tightened another runner. Near 200m when weakening steadied when tightened for room between NILETTE and HOT GOSSIP, which shifted out when not fully clear. Doomben 14/10/2017

Steel Zip Inclined to lay out after leaving the 800m. Eased in the straight and finished a distant last. J. Lloyd reported that his mount refused to stretch out throughout the event and in his opinion felt the firm surface today. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Race 9
Downloading Raced with its head in the air when being restrained in the early stages. When asked to comment on the horse’s performance, J. Byrne indicated that at no stage did the horse travel comfortably, racing with its head in the air in the early stages and near the 850m, when following MOGUL, that horse shifted in and made contact with the running rail. He felt that this caused his mount to shy and lose ground and become very awkward in its action. He indicated that from that point onwards the horse did not respond to his riding and was very disappointing in the run to the line. Sunshine Coast 04/06/2017

Tierrasanta When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding today trainer stated that the gelding has always raced on rain affected going and it was its first run on dry track conditions today. Tnr added that whilst the gelding has won over todays journey previously, that was on a heavy track and in her opinion, it would appreciate a step up in distance next start where it can settle in a more prominent position.
