Fradd reported that he was disappointed with the horses performance and believed that this could be attributed to the horse overracing during the early and middle stages. He advised that connections would consider removing the blinkers from the horse for its next start in an attempt to have the horse settle.

Jockey L. Cassidy reported that after passing the 300m his mount became awkward in its action and felt it may have suffered an injury and therefore did not place his mount under pressure from that point onwards. When questioned regarding the horse’s disappointing performance, jockey T. Chambers reported that after taking up a forward position the filly did not feel entirely comfortable in its action from the 600m onwards. She added that it was also inclined to lay out throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Trainer M. Mair indicated that he would have his stable veterinary surgeon conduct blood tests on the horse, the results of which he would report to stewards. He added that consideration would be given to sending the filly for a spell.
