Marseille En Fleur As jockey J. Orman was to be overweight, jockey R. Fradd was substituted as the rider of the horse. J. Orman was fined $200. Jockey R. Fradd reported that he was disappointed with the horses performance and believed that this could be attributed to the horse overracing during the early and middle stages. He advised that connections would consider removing the blinkers from the horse for its next start in an attempt to have the horse settle. Sunshine Coast 22/10/2017
Karaka Lass Jumped away awkwardly and then was hampered soon after the start when tightened for room. For some distance approaching and passing the 600m was awkwardly placed at the heels of GIVUS A CUDDLE. Jockey L. Cassidy reported that after passing the 300m his mount became awkward in its action and felt it may have suffered an injury and therefore did not place his mount under pressure from that point onwards. A post race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the near hind leg. Trainer B. Baldwin was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required for the horse prior to Sunshine Coast 15/09/2017
Cellyse Tendency to overrace early stages. Rider comment re performance - stated when asked for an effort mare only responded for a short period and in his opinion would be better suited over races shorter than that of todays event. Ipswich 25/10/2017

Brandy Bar A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the horse had cast the off fore plate and was mildly lame in the off foreleg. Sunshine Coast 29/10/2017
Lujac Vetted - mild cardiac arrhythmia and respiratory noise. Trainer advised gelding to be immediately spelled. Barrier trial and veterinary clearance required. Eagle Farm 08/03/2017

Bonney Lores Fractious in the barriers. Trainer G. Hineman was advised that a warning would be placed on the horses manners. Sunshine Coast 13/10/2017
She's Up Beat Raced wide without cover during the early stages. Bumped leaving the 200m. Gold Coast 15/07/2017
Sweett Dazzler Began awkwardly, then blundered shortly after the start. Gatton 11/06/2017
Teagz When questioned regarding the horse’s disappointing performance, jockey T. Chambers reported that after taking up a forward position the filly did not feel entirely comfortable in its action from the 600m onwards. She added that it was also inclined to lay out throughout. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant abnormalities. Trainer M. Mair indicated that he would have his stable veterinary surgeon conduct blood tests on the horse, the results of which he would report to stewards. He added that consideration would be given to sending the filly for a spell. Ipswich 06/05/2017

The Ambassadore Bumped on jumping. Held up rounding the home turn and in the home straight had difficulty obtaining clear running and passing the 100m had to be checked away from heels and went to the line without being fully tested. Ipswich 01/11/2017

Baltic Prince J. Lloyd reported that it had not been his intention to lead, however when caught wide in the early stages and unable to obtain a position closer to the fence, he elected to allow his mount to stride forward to the lead passing the 800m. Sunshine Coast 29/10/2017
Arazona A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Rider M. Cahill reported the horse did not travel comfortably in the rain affected conditions and was awkward in its action from the 600m. Sunshine Coast 22/10/2017
