Real Machine Raced greenly throughout, shifted out when being restrained near the 1000m and again shifted wider near the 800m. Shifted in near the 200m despite the efforts of its rider and tightened the running of another runner. Sunshine Coast 19/03/2017
Snooper Vetted behind barriers at request of rider - cleared to start. Rider reported he was concerned with colt’s action in early stages and elected to ease it out of event passing 800m. Vetted - no abnormalities. Official trial prior to next start. Trainer indicated would now be sent for an immediate spell. Gold Coast 15/04/2017
Excruciate Began awkwardly and then was bumped shortly after the start. Raced three wide with cover. Overraced in the early stages. Had a tendency to lay in under pressure over the final 100m, causing its rider to stop riding on a number of occasions. Ipswich 01/11/2017

Classy Ruby L. Tarrant reported at scale that his mount refused to settle in the middle stages, particularly with the addition of blinkers today. Trainer G. Burns was questioned regarding the apparent change of tactics on the mare today. He stated that at its previous start the mare had got back in the field and he instructed his rider today to have it positioned more forward but did not expect it to be racing near the lead. Mr Burns was reminded that he must report any change of tactics to stewards no later than half an hour before the race. Doomben 07/11/2017

One Mansini Had to be steadied off heels passing the 800m. Had to shift out near the 100m to avoid the heels of SYAMANTAKA MANI, which shifted out, and in doing so made contact with VAULTING AMBITION. Doomben 07/11/2017

Husson Boots Jockey J. Byrne reported his mount first up from a spell did not race entirely comfortably in the rain affected conditions and would take improvement from the run. Sunshine Coast 22/10/2017

Northern Divine When overracing in the lead had a tendency to lay out from the 800m until entering the home straight. Sunshine Coast 05/11/2017
Raven's Wing When questioned regarding the mares improved performance, trainer M. Dunn explained that at its last start, when racing in a forward position, it overraced, and on the recommendation of jockey Fradd he removed the cross-over nose band and winkers and added a tongue tie. He said that he instructed the rider to attempt to settle the mare off the speed with cover, which he believed would allow the mare to finish the race off. Stewards advised Mr Dunn that if it was his intention to change the tactics which had been adopted at recent starts, he was obliged under the rules of racing to notify stew Ipswich 01/11/2017
