Approaching the 200m had difficulty improving to the outside of SET WAIT as a result of CAPITAL CITY racing directly to its outside and was then disappointed for a run to the inside of DRAGON STREET before shifting out and again being disappointed for a run between DRAGON STREET and CLINT. Near the 100m REGNANT was unable to improve to the outside of CLINT in order to avoid causing interference to CAPITAL CITY.

For future starts he may step the gelding up to a distance further than today’s event and if possible would instruct the riders to try and lead on the gelding. On the evidence, GIVE US A CUDDLE, which was late loading, was then fractious in its stall for some time anfd turned its head to the nearside.
