Boom Boy Bumped at the start. Upon straightening was inconvenienced by BETAJET which shifted out. Lost its near hind plate in running. Gold Coast 21/04/2018
Northern Dreams Shifted out abruptly leaving the 600m despite the efforts of its rider resulting in SOZZLED shifting wider on the track, causing it to lose ground. Bumped another runner approaching the 500m. Dalby 28/04/2018
Saturn Ops Inconvenienced and lost ground at the start. Bumped by another runner near the 600m, became unbalanced and lost ground. Sunshine Coast 27/04/2018
Boss's Boy Bumped heavily on jumping away, and was then buffeted shortly after the start. Jockey B. Pengelly reported that the gelding, which was having its first start, failed to travel strongly at any stage of the race and, when placed under pressure in the home straight ran on only fairly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be exhibiting an abnormal upper respiratory noise. On this advice, Stewards advised Trainer J. Crompton that she will be required to produce a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to next racing, including the results of an endoscopic examination. Toowoomba 15/04/2018

American Love Hampered shortly after the start. Near the 800m steadied from the heels of QUEEN BEATRICE, shifted out and raced 3 wide with cover from that point onwards. Laid in under pressure in the home straight. Gold Coast 27/01/2018

Captain Leo After being crossed by another runner near the 900m, the gelding was steadied from heels whilst racing keenly, and then shifted out to avoid heels. Toowoomba 15/04/2018

Mr Strachan Jockey R. Wiggins could offer no tangible explanation for today’s disappointing performance. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant findings. Trainer S. Kendrick advised stewards that the gelding would now be sent for a spell. Sunshine Coast 05/01/2018

Get On when questioned regarding the below market performance reported rider N Thomas reported the mare travelled well to the 800 metres, however when shifted wider on the track when attempting to improve, failed to respond to his riding and was disappointing from that point on. Esk 10/03/2018

Fast Arrow Placed in restricted room near the 150m, causing its rider to stop riding and steady to avoid the heels of LIGHT SHOWS, which shifted in. Jockey S. Cormack, rider of LIGHT SHOWS, was reprimanded for this incident. Sunshine Coast 29/04/2018

Secret Harmony Stewards questioned Trainer B. Butts in relation to the gelding’s seemingly improved performance. Mr. Butt’s advised that the gelding was resuming from a significant spell today, and as the horse has previously performed well first up he had expected a forward showing from the gelding today. Allen reported it had been his intention to ride in a more forward position, however after being slow to begin, runners from the outside crossed him quickly and he was obliged to steady and take up a trailing position.
