Laid out approaching the 400m, bumped the hind quarters of MR STRACHAN and became unbalanced. The veterinary surgeon reported that the horse bled from both nostrils. As this was the first occasion on which the gelding has bled, it will be ineligible to race for 3 months and prior to resuming racing must gallop satisfactorily over 1000m in the presence of a steward.

Ran out abruptly near the 300m. Rider stated following this horse lay in badly & as result could not fully test to line. Rider reminded where possible to ride mounts out hands and heels where possible. Post race vet exam revealed gelding to be lame in the near-fore (1/5). Vet clearance required prior to gelding then barrier trialling.

A short distance later she became aware A SHIN ROCK was going to remain to the outside of IZZAH and this caused her to be caught 3 wide.
