Jumped awkwardly and lost ground. Steadied near the 700m when obliged to race in restricted room and then overraced and was steadied near the 600m. Checked when tightened for room leaving the 50m. Stewards inquired into the circumstances of this incident and established that MORION, which was racing to the outside of TAKES TIME, had laid in under pressure in the home straight, causing its rider to stop riding and straighten near the 150m and again, despite the efforts of its rider, over the final 50m. Stewards were not satisfied that any rider was at fault in this incident.

Connections were advised that the horse must trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start.
