Classic Pearl Jockey L. Tarrant pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding in that at a point approaching the winning post on the first occasion he allowed CLASSIC PEARL to shift in when not clear of BEST FOOT FORWARD, forcing that horse to shift in, tightening the running of PACIFIC CREST, resulting in jockey M. Hellyer having to take hold of that gelding and losing ground whilst clipping the heels of BEST FOOT FORWARD. Jockey Tarrant was suspended from riding in races for a period of 8 days, to commence at midnight, 9 November and to expire at midnight, 17 November. Sunshine Coast 05/11/2019

My Adeline After being moderately away from a wide barrier was restrained to the rear by its rider to obtain a position closer to the rail. Raced three wide without cover throughout. Dreamalina Shifted in abruptly at the 150m causing MACHU PICCHU to shift out to avoid heels and find clear running. Jockey V.Venkaya reported that the mare had raced greenly in the straight and in his opinion would benefit from the addition of blinkers. Nanango 15/02/2020

Evie Matilda Bumped and carried wider approaching 400m. Raced keenly in early stages. Post-race endoscopy detected a degree of internal exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage that may have affected the horse's racing performance. Vet cert required prior to racing again. Cranbourne 04/07/2019

Surface to Surface Reared simultaneously with the start being effected and, as a result, lost considerable ground at the start and was ultimately retired out of the race by its rider. Jockey Appo advised that after the gelding reared at the start and lost considerable ground he formed the view that his mount had lost all competitive chance in the event, and he therefore elected to retire the horse from the race. As Stewards were satisfied that jockey Appo’s actions were reasonable in the circumstances, they accepted his explanation in relation to this matter. Toowoomba 29/02/2020
Bold Delago Slow to begin. When asked to explain the seemingly improved performance of the gelding, trainer G. Hay advised stewards that the horse performed well 2 runs back at Toowoomba and finished the race off well, and at its last start at the Sunshine Coast was held up at the rear of the field prior to the home turn and was unable to gather momentum, and, in his opinion, finished the race off well over the final 200m.
