Jump inwards at the start. Fell at the 300m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be lame in the near foreleg. Trainer S. Kendrick was advised a veterinary clearance would be required prior to being permitted to start again. Rider L. Tarrant was assessed by QAS officials and was subsequently transported to hospital for further assessment. An inquiry was opened regarding the reasons for KAYLEEN falling at the 300m. After taking evidence from all riders in this event this matter was adjourned to allow evidence to be taken from rider L. Tarrant who was transported to hospital. Sunshine Coast 06/11/2022

Bombasay Raced wide for the majority, and laid in throughout the event. Approaching the 1000m, had to be steadied to avoid the heels of SIR ROCKET, which shifted in. A post race veterinary examination of BOMBASAY revealed the gelding to be lame in the near foreleg. Eagle Farm 10/12/2022

Laid in under pressure over the concluding stages. When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance trainer D Murphy advised that at its most start over 1400m the gelding over-race and refused to settle. Flying Zamboni A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to displaying clinical symptoms of Cardiac arrhythmia. Doomben 23/11/2022
Jumped away awkwardly contacting the outside barrier partition. A post race veterinary examination revealed a minor laceration to the off hind pastern. Sunshine Coast 01/11/2022
Counter Command Jumped in at the start and bumped IMMY THE GYMNAST. Raced greenly when placed under pressure in the home straight. Sunshine Coast 16/10/2022
Gossip Column Near the 100m, momentarily steadied when awkwardly placed at heels. Jockey B Thornton advised that the filly was able to obtain a forward position in accordance with its normal racing pattern and travelled comfortably throughout the event. He added that the filly when placed under pressure failed to respond to his riding and proved disappointing in the home straight. Performed below market expectations. Jockey A Spinks reported the mare put in awkward stride near the 600m and from this point ran on only fairly when placed under pressure. Spooky Spectre When asked to comment on the performance rider W Peel reported the horse was obliged to work hard in the early stages to cross and lead event, adding that SPOOKY SPECTRE may be better suited in races over a shorter distance than that of today. Doomben 09/12/2022

Pressure And Time Raced wide for the majority of the event. When questioned regarding tactics adopted approaching the home turn and in the home straight, rider T Brooker stated she was issued no specific instructions and that the horse was inclined to over-race and hang out in the early stages of the event. She added in the home straight she was unable to ride PRESSURE AND TIME out in her usual manner due to the horse racing greenly. A post-race veterinary examination revealed symptoms of cardiac arrhythmia. Mr Dudwey Disappointed for a run passing the 300m, after EARLY THOUGHTS shifted in, and as a result was obliged to shift wider on the track to improve. Sunshine Coast 04/12/2022
Change of tactics, to be ridden less forward with cover if circumstances permit. After being caught wide in the early stages was restrained to a position with cover near the 900m. Jumped in at the start. Sunshine Coast 25/11/2022
Peekays Legacy From the outside barrier was shifted behind runners in the early stages. Near the 150m was eased when crowded. Rdr std the gelding travelled satisfactorily throughout the early & middle stages yet when placed under pressure in the straight commenced to lay in & when he had concerns with his mnts action, particularly over the final 150m, he desisted from riding the gelding out for the remainder of the event. A post race vet exam revealed no abs.Tnr rep subsequently reported satisfaction with the post-race condition of the gelding but advised it will now be leaving the stable. Hawkesbury 04/12/2022
