Rdr std that he had to make some use of the gelding in the early stages when caught racing wide and without cover to obtain the lead near the 1600m. He said that, as a consequence, was left without a finishing effort in the straight and weakened noticeably over the final 300 metres. A post-race vet exam did not reveal any abs. Tnr was advised that would be required to barrier trial to the satisfaction of Stewards prior to racing again. Trialled since.

Rdr stated mount is one paced & believes it will race best when able to work into a sprint as opposed to adopoting sit & sprint tactics. Rdr added he does not believe mount appreciates racing amongst other horses. P/R vet exam no ab's.
