Correct weight was delayed as the film of the race was reviewed. It was ascertained that the gate may have been marginally slow to open, however it was deemed to have no effect on the outcome of the race nor to the chances of the gelding.

The start was delayed when the saddle on the horse shifted en route to the barriers, requiring that runner to be re-saddled. When questioned in regards to the disappointing performance Jockey stated that in her opinion the mare did not handle today’s prevailing track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
