When questioned, jockey W. D’Avila advised stewards that, in his opinion, the horse was not suited by today’s tight circuit over 950m and would be better suited on a larger track over a longer distance.

Stanley was at a loss to explain the performance and felt the horse was disappointing. Trainer T. Bannon advised stewards she was disappointed with the performance today and will monitor the horse going forward and would advise stewards should anything come to her attention that may have had a bearing on its performance. A post-race veterinary examination failed to reveal any abnormalities.
