When questioned regarding performance, jockey stated that his mount failed to respond to his riding throughout the race, raced greenly and may not have handled the dirt surface. He added that he advised connections that the mare may take benefit from the application of blinkers. Trainer stated that the mare had pleased in its work leading into today’s event and would experiment with the mares gear prior to next start.
