On return to scale S. Bogenhuber advised that due to the fast tempo of the race in the early stages she settled further back in the field than she anticipated. She added that her mount was under pressure a considerable distance from home, which she attributed to the horse racing dour tonight, and advised trainer S. Iverson that the gelding may be better suited in races over further distance than tonight's event. Mr Iverson agreed with the statement by S. Bogenhuber and advised it was now his intention to step the horse up in distance for its next start if possible. |

Rider reported that when allowed to settle in a position in the second half of the field the mare in her opinion did not travel well and it was her view that the horse may be suited to settling in a position closer to the lead. A post race veterinary examination of the horse, which was making an abnormal respiratory noise failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Trainer advised he would have his veterinary surgeon examine the horse.Trainer subsequently reported that the mare was vetted and scoped upon return to his stables with no abnormalities detected |
