A post race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be lame in the off foreleg. Bush Caviar  When asked to comment on the performance, trainer Mr M. Kropp stated that, in his opinion, the improvement could be attributed to the removal of the tongue tie from the gelding's gear.   Toowoomba  16/05/2015

Geran explained that the gelding overraced and hung out in the early stages and as a result was unable to finish the race off strongly.
