On returning to scale jockey advised Stewards that after obtaining a forward position the gelding travelled comfortably during the event, however when placed under pressure failed to respond to his riding. He added that given that the horse was first up for some time tonight, it would derive a significant fitness benefit from tonight's run. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. |
