Connections advised that from the inside barrier the horse would be ridden more positively today. When questioned regarding the horse's disappointing performance, apprentice Ljung advised that the mare never travelled strongly throughout the event and when placed under pressure from the 600m proved disappointing. She added that in her opinion the mare raced flat today and may have come to the end of its preparation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer K. Kemp advised that following tonight's performance, the horse would be spelled immediately. |
