| King Ludwig | Stewards questioned jockey regarding her tactics, in particular in the early stages of the race where she allowed the gelding to stride forward to a position 5 lengths ahead of the rest of the field. Rider reported that her instructions were to allow the horse to stride forward in the early stages and obtain a lead over the rest of the field before allowing the horse to settle comfortably in the middle stages.
