| Baroness Zeena | Bumped shortly after the start. When questioned regarding the performance jockey stated that his mount travelled fairly in the early stages however was under pressure to maintain its position from the 600m. He added that his mount failed to sprint in the straight and in his opinion raced like a tired horse. When questioned, trainer stated that on return to scale the mare had its tongue over the bit. She added that she would experiment with gear on the mare and give it a freshen up prior to its next race start. A post race veterinary examination of the mare did not reveal any abnormality. |
